Public Transport (Bemo)

From Ubud, walk to the Ubud Traditional Art Market and take a Bemo (shared minivan) heading towards Amlapura. Inform the driver you want to get off at Tenganan. The journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the main road, you may need to walk about 15 minutes to reach the village, following the signs.

If you are staying in the nearby area of Candidasa, you can walk to Tenganan Pegeringsingan Village. Start from the Candidasa beach area and follow the coastline to the east. After about a 1.5-hour walk, turn inland towards Tenganan, following the signs that direct you to the village.
Motorbike Rental

For a quicker option, consider renting a motorbike in Candidasa or Ubud. From Ubud, take Jalan Raya Ubud eastward, then connect to Jalan Raya Manggis. Follow the road signs to Tenganan Village. If starting from Candidasa, take the coastal road heading east and follow the signs to Tenganan. The ride takes about 30 minutes from either location.
