If you are driving from Padang, take the Jalan Raya Bukittinggi road (Jl. Raya Padang Panjang - Bukittinggi) heading towards Bukittinggi. Continue on this road for approximately 90 km. As you approach Koto Baru, look for the JC52+3XR marker on your right side. The Westkust Halte 'Kotobaroe' is situated at this location. Parking may be available along the roadside.

From Padang, board a bus at the central bus terminal (Terminal Type A). Look for buses heading to Bukittinggi. The fare will typically range from 30,000 to 50,000 IDR. Inform the bus driver you want to get off at Koto Baru. Once you arrive, walk along Jl. Raya Padang Panjang - Bukittinggi until you reach the JC52+3XR marker. The halte is nearby.

Starting in Bukittinggi, take a minibus (angkot) that goes to Koto Baru. Minibuses often leave from the main terminal near the city center. The fare is usually around 10,000 IDR. Ask the driver to drop you off at Koto Baru, and look for the JC52+3XR marker on Jl. Raya Padang Panjang - Bukittinggi. The halte will be near this point.
