If you are starting from downtown Ames, head north on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach Lincoln Way. Turn left onto Lincoln Way and walk for about 0.5 miles. The Iowa State University Memorial Union will be on your right at 2229 Lincoln Way. Look for the large, brick building with the iconic architecture.

Catch the CyRide bus at any downtown Ames stop on the Red or Green route. These buses run frequently and will take you towards Iowa State University. Get off at the Lincoln Way & Welch stop. From there, walk east on Lincoln Way for about 0.2 miles, and the Iowa State University Memorial Union will be on your left at 2229 Lincoln Way.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Ames. Take Main Street north until you reach Lincoln Way. Turn left onto Lincoln Way and ride for approximately 0.5 miles. The Memorial Union will be on your right. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
