From Galway City, start by taking the N59 road towards Leenaun. Continue on the N59 for approximately 50 kilometers, passing through the scenic villages of Oughterard and Maam Cross. Once you reach the village of Letterfrack, follow the signs for Kylemore Abbey. The Abbey is located about 5 kilometers from Letterfrack. There is ample parking available on site. Note that there is an admission fee to enter the Abbey and Victorian Walled Garden.

From Galway City, take a Bus Éireann service (Route 524) towards Clifden. The bus departs from the Galway Coach Station. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kylemore Abbey. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the Abbey itself. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times, as they may vary.
