From Dingle town center, start at the corner of Green Street and Main Street. Walk west on Main Street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the R559 road. Follow this road for about 5 km. You will pass through scenic countryside. Once you reach the junction with the N71, turn right and follow the signs for Gap of Dunloe. After approximately 2 km, you will see signs directing you to the Head of the Gap of Dunloe. It's a beautiful walk that takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
