The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Long Mile Road'. After disembarking, Drimnagh Medieval Castle will be a short 5-minute walk away. Head south on Long Mile Road, and you will see the castle entrance on your right.

For those who prefer to walk, the distance from Dublin Castle to Drimnagh Medieval Castle is about 3.5 kilometers. Start by heading southwest on Dame Street towards Lord Edward Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction, then turn left onto Thomas Street. Walk straight until you reach the South Circular Road, then turn right. Continue along South Circular Road until you reach Long Mile Road, then turn left. The castle will be on your right after a short walk.

From Dublin Castle, walk to the nearest LUAS stop at Jervis, which is about a 10-minute walk. Take the Red Line tram towards Tallaght and get off at the last stop, 'Tallaght'. From Tallaght, transfer to bus 27 or 77 towards Drimnagh. This bus will take you directly to Long Mile Road, where you will get off. The castle is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
