Getting There

  • Bus

    From Ennis, head to the nearest bus stop. Take Bus Eireann route 51 towards Galway. You will travel approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Lisdoonvarna stop. From there, the Mountain View Horse Riding Centre is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the bus stop and walk towards the main road (R478). Turn right and follow the road until you reach a junction. Continue straight on the R477, and you will see signs directing you to Mountain View Horse Riding Centre.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Ennis, you can take a scenic route. Start at O'Connell Square in the town center and head west on Parnell Street. Continue on to the R469 and follow it until you reach the R478. This route will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Once you reach the R478, follow the signs towards Lisdoonvarna. After about 30 minutes walking on the R478, you will reach the junction where you can turn towards the Mountain View Horse Riding Centre.

  • Bicycle

    For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Ennis. Take the R469 out of Ennis heading west. Following the R469 will lead you to the R478. This route is about 12 km and will take around 40 minutes by bike, depending on your speed. Once you reach the R478, follow the signs for Lisdoonvarna, and after about 15 minutes, you will see the Mountain View Horse Riding Centre on your left.
