Car
If you are driving from the center of Glendalough, take the R756 road heading north. Follow the signs towards Laragh and continue until you reach the T-junction with the R115. Turn right onto the R115 and continue for about 5 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N11 towards Dublin. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit for Howth. Follow the signs for Howth village, and then follow the signs for the Howth Cliff Walk. There are various parking options near the start of the walk.

To reach Howth Cliff Walk using public transportation, you can take a bus from Glendalough to Dublin City. Board the bus at the Glendalough bus stop and travel to the Dublin Bus Station. From there, take the DART train (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) towards Howth. The DART station in Howth is right next to the village and the start of the walk. Once you arrive at Howth station, exit and walk towards the harbor, where you'll find signs for the Howth Cliff Walk.
