    From Sligo town, take Bus Eireann Route 480 towards 'Dromahair'. You can catch this bus from Sligo Bus Station, located on Telford Street. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Request to be dropped off at 'Cloyragh', which is the nearest stop to Benbulbin. From the bus stop, walk towards the mountain, following the signs for 'Benbulbin'. It's about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop to the base of Benbulbin.

Head northwest on O'Connell Street towards the river, then turn left onto the Riverside Walk. Follow the path along the river until you reach the junction with the R287 road. Cross the road and continue straight along the R287 towards Cloyragh. After approximately 6 km, you will reach the junction for Benbulbin. Turn left towards Cloyragh, and follow the signs for Benbulbin, which will lead you to the mountain. This walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
