Walking
From the center of Westport, head towards the Westport House entrance. Continue walking along the Quay Road (N59) until you reach the junction with the R335. Turn left onto the R335 and follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several scenic views and local shops. Keep an eye out for the signposts directing you toward Cong. Continue on the R335 until you reach a T-junction. Here, turn right onto the R345. The Cong Dry Aqueduct will be located a short distance ahead on your left. Look for the historical landmark signs to guide you.

From Westport, take a bus from the Westport Bus Station heading towards Cong. Ensure you check the current bus schedules as they may vary. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive in Cong, disembark at the main bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the R345 road. Turn left and follow the road, keeping an eye out for the Cong Dry Aqueduct, which will be located on your right-hand side. It is just a short walk from the bus stop.
