Walking
From the center of Westport, head south on Shop Street toward the junction with High Street. Continue straight onto the N59 road, which is Main Street. Follow the N59 for about 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the R330 towards Cong. Continue on the R330 for approximately 8 km. You will see signs for Ard Na Gaoithe, Forest Recreational Park. Once you see the entrance, follow the path leading into the forest park.

Public Transport
From Westport, take Bus Eireann Route 64 towards Galway. Get off at the Cong stop. Once you arrive in Cong, walk south on the Main Street toward the R330. After about 500 meters, turn left onto the R330. Continue walking for approximately 2 km, and you will reach Ard Na Gaoithe, Forest Recreational Park. Look for signs indicating the entrance.

From Westport, you can rent a bicycle from local rental shops. Start at the Westport Quay and follow the cycle path along the coast towards the N59. Once you reach the N59, ride south for about 1.5 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R330 towards Cong.
