Parking is available at the entrance, and there is a fee for parking, usually around 10-15 shekels.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Northern District to the bus station in Tel Aviv. From there, catch a bus to Ein Gedi, which is the nearest bus stop to Masada. The bus ride to Ein Gedi takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the Ein Gedi stop, you can take a taxi or a shuttle service to Masada National Park, which is approximately a 15-minute drive away. Be prepared to pay for the taxi or shuttle (around 50-100 shekels). Check the Egged website for the latest bus schedules and fares.

Combination of Public Transport and Cable Car
Another option is to take a bus from the Northern District to the nearest major city (like Tel Aviv) and then head to Ein Gedi. From there, you can take a shuttle to the base of Masada. Once at the base, you can opt for the cable car to reach the top of the mountain, which costs around 75 shekels for a round trip. This is a picturesque way to ascend and enjoy the views.
