If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the funicular station at Viale Vittorio Emanuele. Ride the funicular to the upper city (Città Alta). Once you exit the funicular, walk straight along Via Gombito until you reach Piazza Vecchia. Fontana Contarini is located in the center of this square, easily identifiable by its beautiful architecture and as a popular meeting point.

Take the bus from any point in Bergamo to the Città Alta area. The bus line 1 connects the lower city (Città Bassa) to the upper city (Città Alta). Fontana Contarini will be right in the center of the square.
