Walking
From the heart of Città Alta, head towards the iconic Piazza Vecchia, a central point in the historic district. From Piazza Vecchia, take Via Colleoni, which leads you through the charming streets lined with shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Rocca. Turn left onto Via della Rocca and follow it as it gently inclines. After a short walk, you will arrive at the entrance of Rocca di Bergamo, located at Piazzale Brigata Legnano, 16. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

Funicular
If you are starting from the lower part of Bergamo, take the funicular from Viale Vittorio Emanuele II to Città Alta. Once you arrive at the top station, exit and walk towards Piazza Vecchia. From there, follow the same directions as above. Note that the funicular ride costs approximately €1.30 one way.
