To reach Sentiero del Viandante in Abbadia Lariana by car, start from the center of Brianza. Take the SP51 road towards Lecco. Follow signs for the SS36 highway and merge onto it, heading towards Lecco. After about 20 km, take the exit for Abbadia Lariana. Once you exit, follow the signs for Abbadia Lariana town center. The hiking trail begins near the waterfront area along Lake Como, where you can find parking options. Parking may incur a fee depending on the location, typically ranging from €1 to €3 per hour.

If you prefer public transportation, take a train from any major station in Brianza (such as Monza or Seregno) to Lecco on the Trenord Line. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lecco train station, transfer to the local bus service (line 1) towards Abbadia Lariana. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Abbadia Lariana - Municipio.' From there, walk towards the lakeside area where the Sentiero del Viandante trail starts. Be aware that bus tickets cost around €2.50 and can be purchased at the station or on the bus.
