Walking

From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards Corso Resina. Walk straight until you reach the train station, Ercolano Scavi. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Napoli Mergellina station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs to Villa Comunale. The Acquario di Napoli is located within this park area.
Public Transport

Start from Herculaneum and walk to the nearest Circumvesuviana train station, Ercolano Scavi. Purchase a ticket to Napoli Mergellina. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride, which should take about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Napoli Mergellina, exit the station and head towards the waterfront, making your way to Villa Comunale.
