From the center of Valtellina, head towards Colico by taking the SS38 road. Follow the SS38 until you reach the exit for Colico. Once in Colico, continue on Via delle Torri. After approximately 1.5 km, you will see signs for Forte Montecchio Nord. There is a parking area available near the fort, and parking is usually free.
