Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Rialto Bridge, make your way down the main street (Mercerie) heading towards St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). Follow the street until you reach the square, which will take about 15-20 minutes. Once in St. Mark's Square, the Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio) is located on the northern side of the square, near the entrance to the shopping arcade.

    From the Accademia Gallery, head east towards the Grand Canal and cross the Accademia Bridge. Once across, turn right and continue along the Grand Canal until you reach the Campo San Barnaba. From there, take a left and follow the narrow streets that will lead you to Piazzale Roma. Continue straight until you reach St. Mark's Square in about 25-30 minutes. The Clock Tower will be on your right as you enter the square.

    Starting from the Doge's Palace, exit onto the waterfront, and walk towards St. Mark’s Square. Once in the square, the Clock Tower will be directly in front of you, situated between the shops. This is a short walk of about 5 minutes.

    If you are coming from the Santa Lucia Train Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the Vaporetto (water bus) terminal. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 towards Lido, and disembark at the San Marco stop. From there, walk towards St. Mark's Square (about a 5-minute walk). The Clock Tower will be located at the northern end of the square.
