If you are starting from Piazzale Roma, head towards the Grand Canal. Walk across the Scalzi Bridge (Ponte degli Scalzi) and follow the signs to the train station (Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia). From the train station, take the first left onto Calle de le Botteghe and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Campo San Geremia. Turn right onto Calle San Geremia and follow the street until you reach the end. Turn left onto Strada Nova, and then take another left onto Calle dell’Avvocato. Continue straight and you will find Basilica S.Maria Gloriosa dei Frari on your right in about 15-20 minutes.

If you are near the Rialto Bridge, start by heading towards Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, take Calle dei Stagneri and continue until you reach the intersection with Calle dei Fabbri. Turn left onto Calle dei Fabbri and follow it until you reach Campo San Polo. The Basilica is located just a few steps from the campo, directly on your left at San Polo, 3072.

If you are at St. Mark's Square, exit towards the Doge’s Palace and head to the water's edge. Walk along the Riva degli Schiavoni, taking in the views of the lagoon. When you reach the Ponte della Paglia, cross over and continue along the waterfront until you can turn left onto Calle del Rimedio. Follow this street until you reach Campo San Polo, where the Basilica S.Maria Gloriosa dei Frari is located.

If you are in the Cannaregio district, walk towards the Strada Nova until you hit the junction with the Grand Canal. Head towards the Rialto Bridge.
