If you are already in the San Marco area, you can simply walk to Saint Mark's Basilica. From the famous Piazza San Marco, where you will find the large square filled with tourists, you will see the Basilica directly in front of you at P.za San Marco, 328, 30100 Venezia VE. The entrance is located on the west side of the square. Look for the ornate façade and the domes of the Basilica—it’s hard to miss!

If you are further away in Venice, the Vaporetto is an excellent option to reach San Marco. Take the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 and disembark at the 'San Marco' stop. Once you get off, follow the signs towards Piazza San Marco, which is a short 5-minute walk from the Vaporetto station. You will see the Basilica as you approach the square. A single ticket for the Vaporetto costs around €7.50, and tickets can be purchased at the Vaporetto ticket booths or machines.
