If you're driving to Ōtemon Square, head towards Hirosaki City from anywhere in Aomori. Follow the signs to Route 7 and merge onto the highway. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Hirosaki. Take the exit towards Hirosaki City Center and follow the signs for downtown. As you get closer, look for signs directing you to Ōtemon Square, located at 2-1 Shimoshiroganecho. There is parking available nearby, but please be aware that some parking lots may charge a fee of around 300 to 500 yen per hour.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
To reach Ōtemon Square using public transportation, start at Aomori Station. Take the JR Ou Line towards Hirosaki Station, which takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 500 yen. Once you arrive at Hirosaki Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside. Take the 'Hirosaki City Loop Bus' and get off at the 'Ōtemon' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Ōtemon Square, which is located at 2-1 Shimoshiroganecho. The bus fare is around 200 yen.

An alternative option for public transport is to take a direct bus from Aomori City to Hirosaki City. Buses run regularly from Aomori Bus Terminal to Hirosaki Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes and costs approximately 1,000 yen. Once you arrive at Hirosaki Station, follow the directions as mentioned above to reach Ōtemon Square via the city loop bus or by walking, which takes about 15 minutes.
