From Aomori City, take National Route 4 (Hachinohe Bypass) towards Hachinohe. Merge onto the Tohoku Expressway at Hachinohe. Continue on the expressway, and take the Towada Interchange exit. From there, follow signs for Towada City and Oirase-keiryū gorge. The drive takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. There may be toll fees, typically around 1,000 to 2,000 yen depending on your route.

From Aomori Station, take the JR Ou Main Line to Towada Station (approximately 1 hour). From Towada Station, transfer to a bus heading to Oirase-keiryū gorge. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 500 yen. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.
