Getting There

  • Car

    From central Bizen, take Route 2 heading east towards Okayama. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Okayama City. Follow the signs for Takamatsuinari and merge onto Route 250. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto Takamatsuinari Street. After 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Saijo Inari-san Myoukyoji. The temple is at 712 Takamatsuinari, Kita Ward, Okayama, 701-1331. There is parking available near the temple.

  • Public Transportation

    From Bizen, take a local train from Bizen Station to Okayama Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Okayama Station, transfer to the Okayama Electric Railway and take the train to Takamatsu Station. Get off at Takamatsu Station, which is about a 15-minute ride. From there, you can take a bus (Takamatsu Line) to Takamatsuinari. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the Takamatsuinari stop, and Saijo Inari-san Myoukyoji will be a short walk from there. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your return trip.
