Car
From Bungo, take Route 10 south towards Yufu. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Yufu City. Once in Yufu, follow the signs to Yufuincho Kawakami. Continue straight on Yufuin Road, and then turn left onto the road leading to Nurukawa Onsen. The onsen will be located at 1490-1 Yufuincho Kawakami, Yufu, Oita 879-5102. Parking is available at the onsen.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Bungo, head to the nearest bus station and take a bus towards Yufu. The bus ride should take about 40-50 minutes. Upon reaching Yufu Station, transfer to a local bus bound for Yufuincho Kawakami. Get off at the 'Nurukawa Onsen' bus stop. The onsen is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your return trip.
