If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Buzen. Head south on Route 10 towards Shimonoseki. Merge onto Route 2 (Hiroshima Road) and continue for about 30 kilometers. Take the exit for Hikoshima. Follow signs for Hikoshima and continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers. Once you reach Hikoshima, look for signs directing you to the Iwao Sasaki monument, which will be on your right side. There is free parking available near the monument.

To reach the Iwao Sasaki monument using public transportation, start at Buzen Station. Take a local bus towards Shimonoseki. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at Hikoshima Station. From the station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the monument. Head east on the main road and look for signs pointing to the Iwao Sasaki monument. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the return trip, as services may be limited.
