Car
If you are driving, take the Fukuoka Expressway from Chikugo towards Miyama. Depending on your starting point in Chikugo, you will need to merge onto Route 3 (Kyushu Expressway) and then take the exit towards Miyama. Continue on Route 386 for about 15 minutes, following the signs for Kiyomizudera. The temple is located at 1119-1 Setakamachi Motoyoshi, Miyama, Fukuoka 835-0003. There is a parking lot available near the temple, which may have a small fee, so be prepared with cash just in case.

Public Transportation
To reach Kiyomizudera by public transport, start at Chikugo station. Take a train on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line towards Omuta and transfer at Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. From there, board the Nishitetsu Miyama Line train towards Miyama. Get off at the Miyama Station. From Miyama Station, you can take a taxi directly to Kiyomizudera, which will take about 10-15 minutes and cost approximately 1,500 yen. Alternatively, you can check for local bus services that may be available at the station.
