Subway
From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Meinohama. Get off at Nishijin Station (about 10 minutes). At Nishijin Station, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway, and board the Nanakuma Line towards Hashimoto. Get off at Momochihama Station (about 5 minutes). Once you exit the station, head west on Momochihama Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the Fukuoka City Museum at 3 Chome-1-1 Momochihama.
Bus
From Tenjin Station, take the Nishitetsu Bus #100 or #1 towards Momochihama. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at 'Fukuoka City Museum' bus stop. The museum will be a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs towards Momochihama.
Walking
If you are near the Momochihama area, simply head towards 3 Chome-1-1 Momochihama. From the beach, walk east along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you see the Fukuoka City Museum. It's a pleasant walk along the seaside.
