Public Transportation - Train
Start your journey at Hakata Station, one of the main train stations in Fukuoka. Take the JR Kagoshima Line towards Yoshizuka. After 5 stops, get off at Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. Here, transfer to the Nishitetsu Omuta Line and take a train towards Omuta. Get off at the Dazaifu Station. From Dazaifu Station, exit towards the main street and walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will see signs pointing to Shipporyuji Temple Hondō.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Tenjin Bus Terminal in Fukuoka, take the Nishitetsu Bus No. 100 towards Dazaifu. The ride will take around 40 minutes. Get off at the Dazaifu stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes, and look for signs leading to Shipporyuji Temple Hondō.
