Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, take the Kansai International Airport Road and merge onto the Hanwa Expressway (阪和自動車道) towards Osaka. Follow the signs for Izumisano and exit at Izumisano IC. Continue on Route 170 and follow the signs towards Kasuga Shrine located at 4-12 Kasugacho, Izumisano, Osaka 598-0058. Parking is available near the shrine, but be aware that there may be fees depending on the time of day.

  • Train and Bus

    To reach Kasuga Shrine by public transportation, start by taking the Nankai Airport Line from Kansai International Airport to Nankai Izumisano Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Nankai Izumisano Station, take a local bus (Bus No. 8 or 9) towards Kasuga Shrine. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and you will need to get off at the Kasuga Shrine stop.
