If you are already in the Tenjin area, the Statue of Otojiro Kawakami is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Tenjin subway station. Start by heading south on the main street (Tenjin Chuo-dori) until you reach the intersection with Watanabe-dori. Turn left onto Watanabe-dori and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a large intersection. Cross the street and continue straight onto Kamikawabatamachi. The statue is located at 12 Kamikawabatamachi, right next to the Fukuoka City Museum.
