Car
If you're driving from central Hakone, take the National Route 1 towards Fujikawaguchiko. The journey will take approximately 40 to 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Follow signs for Fujikawaguchiko and keep an eye out for the Fujisan Herb Garden, which is located at 1996 Funatsu. There is parking available on-site, but be prepared for a parking fee of around 500 yen.

Public Transportation
To reach Fujisan Herb Garden by public transport, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone Yumoto Station to Gora Station. From Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride it to Sounzan Station. Here, transfer to the Hakone Ropeway, which will take you to Togendai Station. From Togendai, take a bus towards Fujikawaguchiko. Get off at the 'Fujisan Herb Garden' bus stop. The total journey may take around 2-2.5 hours and costs approximately 1,800 yen for the train and cable car fare, plus the bus fare.
