Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, navigate to Fujiomurosengen Shrine located at 3951 Katsuyama, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0310. From central Fujikawaguchiko, take Route 137 and follow the signs towards Mt. Fuji. You will pass by Lake Kawaguchi. Continue on Route 137, and then turn onto Route 300 towards Katsuyama. The shrine will be on your left after approximately 5 minutes. There is parking available near the shrine.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    To reach Fujiomurosengen Shrine by bus, take the Fujikyu Bus from Kawaguchiko Station. Look for a bus heading to Katsuyama or the Fujisan World Heritage Center. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Katsuyama bus stop, which is the closest stop to the shrine. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the shrine. Follow the signs leading you towards Fujiomurosengen Shrine.
