Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Misaki in Kanagawa Prefecture. From the center of Hakone, take the National Route 1 and continue south until you reach the intersection with Route 135. Follow Route 135 to the east, passing through the scenic coastal areas. When you reach the Misaki area, look for signs directing you to Kainan Shrine, located at 4 Chome-12-11 Misaki. There is parking available near the shrine, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons.

Public Transportation
Start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station, which takes about 15 minutes. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Yokosuka Line. Take the train towards Zushi and alight at Misaki-Kenbuchi Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Misaki-Kenbuchi Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Kainan Shrine. Follow the signs towards Misaki Port, and you'll find the shrine nestled in the area. Be sure to check train schedules as they may vary, especially on weekends.
