    If you are driving, take the Tōmei Expressway towards Odawara. Exit at the Odawara-Nishi Interchange and follow Route 1 towards Odawara city center. Once in the city, look for Honcho Street. Matsubara Shrine is located at 2 Chome-10-16 Honcho, Odawara, Kanagawa 250-0012. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around ¥200 per hour.

  • Train & Walk

    To reach Matsubara Shrine via public transportation, take the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Odawara Station, exit the station and head towards the north exit. From there, walk along Honcho Street for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at the shrine located at 2 Chome-10-16 Honcho. The shrine is a short, pleasant walk from the station.
