Getting There

    If you're driving from central Hida, first head towards Route 158. Follow the signs for Takayama. Once you reach Takayama, continue on Route 158 until you reach the intersection with Kataharamachi Street. Turn onto Kataharamachi Street and drive for about 1 kilometer. Yanagibashi will be on your left side at 22 Kataharamachi, easy to spot as it's a notable bridge.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    To reach Yanagibashi by bus, take a bus from Hida's central bus terminal to Takayama Station. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 600 yen. Once you arrive at Takayama Station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Route 158). From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Yanagibashi. Head south on the main road, and turn left onto Kataharamachi Street. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Yanagibashi on your left.
