Car
If you're traveling by car from the center of Hiroshima, head west on Route 2 (also known as the Hiroshima-Kure Road) towards Kure. After about 5 kilometers, take the exit towards Mitaki-dera. Follow the signs for Mitaki-dera, which will lead you along a winding road through the countryside. The temple is located at 411 Mitakiyama, Nishi Ward, Hiroshima. There is parking available near the temple, but it may be limited on weekends.

Public Transportation
To reach Mitaki-dera via public transportation, take the JR Sanyo Line from Hiroshima Station to Hiroshima Port Station. From there, transfer to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) and take the tram to the 'Mitaki' stop. The tram ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mitaki stop, it’s a 15-minute walk uphill to the temple. Follow the signs toward Mitaki-dera, and enjoy the scenic path lined with trees as you make your way to the temple.
