From Hiroshima Castle, exit the main entrance and head south towards the main road, Otemachi Street. Once you reach Otemachi Street, turn left and continue walking straight for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large sign of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum on your right; the Ruins of Hiroshima Imperial Army Headquarters is located just a short distance from there.

After passing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection at the corner of Motomachi Street. At this intersection, turn right onto Motomachi Street. The Ruins of Hiroshima Imperial Army Headquarters will be approximately 200 meters ahead on your right side, located at 21 Motomachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima.

If you would prefer to take public transport, from Hiroshima Castle, walk to the nearest tram stop called 'Hiroshima Castle' (Hiroden). Board the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram Line 1 (towards Eba) and travel for 2 stops. Get off at 'Hondori' station. From there, exit the station and walk straight along Hondori Street until you reach the intersection with Motomachi Street. Turn left onto Motomachi Street, and walk approximately 300 meters; the Ruins of Hiroshima Imperial Army Headquarters will be on your left.
