If you are driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 heading south. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 408. Merge onto Route 408 and follow the signs for Sakura. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit toward Jonaicho. Continue onto Jonaicho street; Hiyodori-Zaka will be on your right at 5-23 Jonaicho. The attraction is well-marked with signage.

To reach Hiyodori-Zaka using public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line train from Hitachi Station to Sakura Station. This journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Sakura Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside. Take bus number 3 towards Jonaicho and get off at the Jonaicho stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Hiyodori-Zaka at 5-23 Jonaicho. Follow the road signs, and you will find the attraction easily.
