As you approach Tokyo, follow signs for the Shuto Expressway (Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway). Take the exit for 'Marunouchi' and follow the signs to Marunouchi Square. There is limited parking available around Marunouchi Square, so be prepared to pay for parking fees, which can range from 300 to 600 JPY per hour.

For public transportation, begin your journey at Hitachi Station. Take the Joban Line bound for Ueno. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Get off at Ueno Station and transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Take the Ginza Line towards Shibuya and get off at Tokyo Station (4 stops). From Tokyo Station, follow the signs for Marunouchi and exit the station. Marunouchi Square is a short 5-minute walk from the station. A one-way train ticket from Hitachi to Ueno costs around 1,500 JPY.
