If you're driving from Sapporo city center, take Route 5 (Sapporo-Tokachi Road) and head northeast. Follow the signs for Atsubetsu and continue on Route 274. After approximately 20 km, merge onto Route 453. The Historical Village of Hokkaido will be on your right. There is free parking available on site.

Public Transportation
To reach the Historical Village of Hokkaido by public transport from Sapporo, take the JR Chitose Line from Sapporo Station to Shin-Sapporo Station. From Shin-Sapporo Station, transfer to the Sapporo City Bus. Take bus number 88, which goes directly to the Historical Village of Hokkaido. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as the frequency may vary.
