If you're driving from the center of Iyo, take Route 196 towards Imabari. After approximately 20 kilometers, merge onto the Imabari-Kita Expressway. Continue on the expressway for about 10 kilometers before taking the exit for Kurushima. Follow the signs for Kurushima and then for Rai Island. The drive will take roughly 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Be prepared for tolls on the expressway, which may cost around ¥600.

From Iyo, take a local train from Iyo Station to Imabari Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Imabari Station, transfer to a bus heading towards Kurushima.
