From Izumi City, take Route 3 towards Kumamoto. After about 43 km, follow the signs for Route 266 towards Amakusa. Continue for about 30 km until you reach Ushibukamachi. Upon entering the town, follow the signs to Ushibuka Haiya Bridge. There is parking available nearby. Note that there may be tolls on Route 3.

Start your journey from Izumi Station. Take the JR Kagoshima Main Line to Kumamoto Station (approximately 1 hour). At Kumamoto Station, transfer to the Nankai Bus bound for Amakusa.
