    From Izumi, drive south on Route 3 towards Amakusa. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Follow the signs for Amakusa and keep going until you reach the Amakusa area. Once you arrive in the vicinity of Kawauramachi, look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal for Ubu Island. Parking is available at the terminal, but be sure to check for any fees.

    Take a bus from Izumi Station to Amakusa. There are several bus services operating this route, and the journey will take about 2 hours.
