Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Izumi, head southwest on Route 3 (also known as the Izumi Bypass) towards the Amakusa region. Continue on Route 3 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection for Route 389. Take the exit for Route 389 toward Ushibukamachi. Follow Route 389 for about 10 kilometers, and then turn left onto Ushibuka Park Road. The park will be on your right after about 1 kilometer. Parking is available at the park entrance, and there are no fees for parking.

    To reach Ushibuka Park using public transport, start by taking a bus from Izumi Station. Board a bus heading to Amakusa, specifically the Ushibukamachi line. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Ushibukamachi stop. From there, you can either walk about 15 minutes to the park or take a local taxi if you prefer a more direct route. Note that bus fares are around 800 yen one way.
