From central Izumi, take Route 3 towards Kumamoto. Continue on Route 3 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Kamiamakusa. Look for signs indicating Oyanomachi Yushima. Follow the signs to Oyanomachi Yushima, which is approximately 5 kilometers off Route 3. Once you arrive at Oyanomachi Yushima, you will need to find parking available in the area near the waterfront. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.

From Izumi Station, take the JR Kagoshima Line to Yatsushiro Station (approximately 20 minutes). At Yatsushiro Station, transfer to the Kumamoto Railway Bus bound for Kamiamakusa.
