Public Transportation
From Kai Station, take the Fujikyu Railway to Ōtsuki Station. The ticket costs around 500 JPY. At Ōtsuki Station, transfer to the JR Chūō Main Line (Rapid) towards Tokyo. After about 45 minutes, get off at Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku Station, take the Keio Line to Chōfu Station (approximately 20 minutes). At Chōfu Station, transfer to the Keio Sagamihara Line and get off at Kitakarasuyama Station. Jōinji Temple is a short 10-minute walk from the station. Exit the station, head west on Route 20, then turn left onto a small street leading to the temple.

If you're driving from Kai, take Route 20 towards Tokyo. Follow the signs for Chūō Expressway and merge onto the expressway. After about 1 hour, take the exit for Chōfu Interchange and follow the signs to Setagaya. Use a GPS to navigate to 5 Chome-11-1 Kitakarasuyama, Setagaya City, Tokyo 157-0061. Parking might be limited near the temple, so look for nearby parking lots or street parking.
