Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car from central Kai, start by heading south on Route 20 (Chuo Expressway) towards Kofu. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 30 kilometers. Take the exit towards Kofu South Interchange, then merge onto Route 52. Follow the signs for Takato and continue on Route 52 for about 10 kilometers. Exit onto Route 300 and follow the signs to Setagaya City. Myōyūji Temple is located at 4 Chome-16-1 Kitakarasuyama, Setagaya City, Tokyo. There is parking available nearby, but please check for any fees that may apply.

    To reach Myōyūji Temple using public transportation, begin at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo and transfer at Shinjuku Station.
