Turn left onto Route 139 and follow the signs for Tokyo. Stay on Route 139 for about 30 km, which will lead you directly into the Tokyo area. Once you reach Toshima City, look for directions to Sugamo. Upon arriving in Sugamo, you can find parking nearby (note that parking fees may apply, typically around 300-500 yen per hour). The Sugamo Jizodori Shopping Street is located at 4 Chome-22-8 Sugamo, just a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation

For public transportation, start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Kai Station to Takao Station. At Takao Station, transfer to the JR Yokohama Line and ride to Hachioji Station. From Hachioji Station, take the JR Sobu Line to Shinjuku Station. At Shinjuku Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and head towards Sugamo Station.
