Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Kanazawa Castle Park, head towards the central pathway that leads deeper into the park. Continue straight, passing the impressive castle structures on your left. Keep an eye out for the signposts that direct you towards Kenrokuen Garden. After about a 10-minute walk, you'll arrive at the Katsurazaka Gate, which is one of the entrances to the garden.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the nearby rental shops in Kanazawa Castle Park. Once you have your bike, exit the rental area and follow the main path towards Kenrokuen Garden. It should take you around 5 minutes to reach the Katsurazaka Gate. Look for bike parking near the gate to secure your bicycle.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you are further away within Kanazawa, you can take a local bus to get closer to Kenrokuen Garden. Board a bus that heads towards the 'Kenrokuen' bus stop (check the bus routes at the main bus terminal). Once you arrive at the Kenrokuen stop, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the Katsurazaka Gate. Follow the signs directing you to Kenrokuen Garden.
