Getting There

Car
From central Tokyo, take the Kan-Etsu Expressway towards Takasaki. After approximately 50 km, take the exit towards the Ken-O Expressway (also known as the Ken-O Toll Road) at the Kawagoe JCT. Continue on the Ken-O Expressway for about 25 km until you reach the Ogawa Interchange. Take the exit and follow Route 254 towards Ogawa. After about 15 km, follow the signs to Aoyama, which will lead you directly to the Site of Aoyama Castle. Note that there may be toll fees totaling around ¥2,000.

Train and Bus
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Takasaki Line to Kumagaya Station (approximately 50 minutes). Transfer to the JR Chichibu Line and ride to Ogawa Station (about 30 minutes). Upon arriving at Ogawa Station, you can take a local bus (Ogawa Town Loop Bus) that operates towards Aoyama. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes, and the fare is around ¥300. Get off at the Aoyama bus stop, which is a short walk from the Site of Aoyama Castle.
